Former Rangers, Dundee and Raith Rovers player Nacho Novo is recovering after suffering a heart attack while playing for an Ibrox legends team in Berlin on Saturday. The 38-year-old remains a cult hero among the Govan club’s supporters. @Greenockbl­rsc said: “Awful news about Nacho Novo suffering a heart attack in Berlin playing for Rangers Legends. Thoughts and prayers with him, his wife and family.” @Teamdeeuk added: “Unfortunat­e news emerging that Nacho Novo has had a heart attack. We wish him a speedy recovery. Like him or loathe him there are things more important than football and we wish him and his family all the best.” @PAULDFC offered; “Loved him at Dundee, had his name on my top and he happened to come in the club shop when it was getting printed and he signed it for my Dad. Great player, hope he’s ok.” @Soccermars­h1 commented: “Wishing him all the best.”
