Man assaulted in early morning high street brawl

A man suffered facial injuries when he was attacked by two other males in a large-scale brawl in Kirriemuir.

Police Scotland is appealing for information about the incident, which happened at about 2:30am on New Year’s Day in Kirriemuir High Street.

Officers said they wanted to trace two men. The first is described as wearing a black tracksuit with white stripes down the arms and legs, and grey trainers. The second is described as having a slim build and was wearing a dark jacket over a white top, skinny ripped jeans and brown boots.
