Man jailed for eight years over rape of teenager

A man who raped a teenage girl is has been jailed for eight years.

Graham Findlay, 33, attacked the 14 year-old at a house in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

He yesterday returned to the High Court in Glasgow having earlier been convicted of the August 2016 rape.

He had also been found guilty of communicating indecently with another teenage girl and did “engage in sexual activity” with her in 2015. Judge Michael O’grady QC told Findlay he had been convicted of “an appalling course of conduct”.
