Shaggy dog stories: Children building their confidence – by reading to attentive pooches

Langfaulds Primary School pupil Reece Cameron reads to Willow the dog as part of a scheme to increase children’s confidence when reading aloud.

Therapet in Glasgow visits the school every week to let youngsters read to their dogs – Old English Sheepdog Willow and Border Collie Skye.

Children know the dogs are listening when they rest their heads on their paws.
