Nicola Sturgeon apologises to patients who faced waits or delayed treatment as a result of winter strain on the NHS

-

She dare not apologise for the state of education in Scotland since things are declining in Scotland while rising in England. With NHS in Scotland & England declining that is acceptable because it is happening in England as well, so the SNP can use that as an excuse. – Mike Lowery So, let me get this straight, under the SNP the NHS in Scotland was not prepared for bad weather and flu during winter? And before anyone chimes in with some whitabootery in the form of statistics about NHS England – I don’t care how NHS Scotland performs compared to NHS England because I live in Scotland and their job is to manage the Scottish NHS. And no, this is not a jibe at hardworking health professionals, who do a cracking job in the face of pressures wholly created by poor management. – Bung The present crisis is not just winter pressure overwhelming staff, the deterioration in service has been accelerating since Sturgeon the mouthpiece herself was incompetently in charge of the health service. – Ohmi Goad
