Police divers search Clyde for missing man

Police divers have been combing a stretch of river as they search for a man missing from his home.

Graham Clark, 54, was last seen by his mother at her home in the Knightswood area of Glasgow at about 6am on Tuesday.

Less than half an hour later, his car, a green Mazda, was found abandoned on the southbound carriageway of the city’s Kingston Bridge. Divers could be seen searching an area underneath the bridge yesterday after they began their search of the River Clyde on Tuesday.

Officers are appealing to the public for help.
