Brechin City Fair result

-

Brechin City welcomed play-off chasing Morton to Glebe Park on Saturday as we tried to put last week’s tough defeat to bed.

With Ally Love leaving for Clyde and Elliot Ford being released, Darren Dods moved to bring in former City player Callum Tapping from Queen of the South.

City came out the traps early on and took an early lead through Connor Mclennan on seven minutes, however that lead was short lived as Morton levelled five minutes later.

With the score level at 1-1 it was all to play for in the second half and it was Morton who threw absolutely everything at the City defence with no luck. A point apiece was a fair result but City are still searching for that much-needed win!
