St Mirren On-song Saints

“Top of the league and you’re no” is not often associated with being on the hymn sheet of St Mirren fans. However, being six points ahead of Dundee United (regardless of their game in hand) after an undefeated festive period is worth singing about.

We’ve already bolstered our squad by signing the best young player in Scotland, Lewis Morgan, on loan from Celtic; after one game, it’s safe to say he’s a very similar player to Lewis Morgan, who we just sold to Celtic for £300k. United’s 6-1 implosion at Falkirk has helped bolster our goal difference. But there is still a lot of football to be played and, as with last season’s relegation battle going to the last game of the campaign, St Mirren never do anything the easy way.
