Queen of the South Happy travellers

-

Trying to predict the outcome of a Queens match has long been a futile exercise, with Saturday’s victory over Livingston a case in point.

The previous meeting between the clubs saw a comprehensive away victory for the Lions, and, with Queens unable to name a full squad for the trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena, most Doonhamers feared the worst.

Instead, the travelling support were treated to a gutsy and hard-earned win that enabled us to leapfrog Livingston back into the playoff places. The victory also saw us climb to the summit of the away form table. Despite not being the paciest of teams, we do seem more suited to playing away from home.
