Man charged after alcohol stolen from club

A 37-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged breakin and theft at a comedy club in Aberdeen.

Police were called to Breakneck Comedy at King Street in the early hours of yesterday and found a small quantity of alcohol taken.

A man who was traced nearby has been charged in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Sergeant Dougie Mackay said: “I would like to thank the member of public who alerted police to suspicious activity in the area.”
