Montrose are feeling good again
By Montrose head to Edinburgh City with manager Stewart Petrie delighted that his men have answered questions about their title push.
A 6-2 defeat from Peterhead and a 1-1 draw with bottom side Cowdenbeath had seen the Blue Toon pull to within a point of the Gable Endies with Petrie’s men responding in the best manner possible last weekend with a win over an Annan side who had gone nine games unbeaten.
Petrie said: “We were back showing the form that we have shown for large chunks of the season. It was important as heads had been going down. We stopped that.”
Edinburgh City boss James Mcdonagh said: “We may have won our last two but we are not expected to win this one. We can go out to enjoy the game.”
Peterhead entertain Stirling Albion, with Balmoor manager Jim Mcinally saying: “At one stage we were seven points behind Stirling and now we could go 13 ahead of them. They will not want that to happen.”
Stenhousemuir travel to Clyde looking to bounce back from defeat, with boss Brown Ferguson saying: “The reaction in training has been impressive.”
Berwick take on an Annan side who have added four new players, with Elgin at home to bottomof-the-tablecowdenbeath.
