This is the Kit/lost Horizons

Celtic Connections kicks off this week with a typically ambitious opening concert marking 25 years of this dynamic festival but, as always, there are sonic treats to be found all across its many musical byways, Bristol indie folk outfit This is the Kit, helmed by singer/guitarist Kate Stables, being one of them. Arrive in time for special guests Lost Horizons, a blissful collaboration between Cocteau Twins bassist Simon Raymonde and his former 4AD compadre Richie Thomas, supplemented by guest vocalists.
