THREE-DAY FORCAST

-

● Conditions turn colder today but there will be some spells of sunshine in the south half of the UK and northeast Scotland at first. Otherwise it will be a largely cloudy day with a mixture of hail, sleet and snow showers, mostly in western regions, and snow over the hills. There will be a brisk south-westerly wind, most powerful along the coast.

● Tomorrow will see a mixture of sunny spells and showers in the west. However, it will be drier and brighter in the south-east. There will be brisk westerly winds, which will be strongest in western areas.

● Thursday will be rather unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain in the west, some heavy. Further east will be drier. Winds will be brisk to strong, especially in Scotland.
