Prisoner found after staying out on home leave

A prisoner who failed to return from a period of home leave has been found.

Paul Stewart was reported missing from HMP Castle Huntly near Dundee at 2pm on Monday.

The 44-year-old absconded after spending some time on home leave.

Police said early yesterday that Stewart had been found safe and well.

Officers had advised the public not to approach the prisoner.
