Woman robbed by trio of men in night assault

A woman has been attacked and robbed by three men in Fort William.

The 50-year-old sustained injuries to her face during the incident about 9pm on Saturday.

She also had jewellery stolen from her in the attack.

The incident happened on Carn Dearg Road in the Claggan area of the town.

Police Scotland said the three men were all aged in their mid 20s and have appealed for witnesses.
