Heart of Midlothian Naismith-lafferty buzz

It feels like the phoney war now, with much refreshing of Twitter to see if anything is happening which might affect the course of Sunday’s derby. Hopefully we are using the time productively to let injuries recover and to assess who, from our wider crop of talented young players, should be retained in the first-team squad rather than loaned out.

I hope serious work is also being done to secure new players, even if not in time for the Hibs game. We have signed a left-back who comes highly recommended, but we have been there before! We have been linked with Steven Naismith and the prospect of him and Lafferty together is exciting enough that if we don’t sign him now it will feel like an enormous let down.
