Hamilton Accies Docherty’s big chance

Near the end of the Motherwell game there was a terrific moment when Greg Docherty skipped past Stevie Hammell and smacked the ball into the bottom corner. With Hammell retiring afterwards and young Greg apparently on the brink of a big move, neither is likely to play in the cup tie this weekend. Greg’s departure would be a real shame for the club but hopefully good news for the player, who has a real chance at making the big time. But I would rather he didn’t go from my favourite club to my least favourite.

Of course, we do have new signing Chrysovalantis Kozoronis to cheer us up. Little is known about the new guy apart from some decent Youtube clips, but his agent also found us Alex Gogic, Giannis Skondras and Antonio Rojano, so he knows what he’s doing. I hope.
