Dundee United Change soft mentality

In an almost identical rerun of last season, our post-christmas form seems to be handing the title to our nearest rivals. While the ship was steadied somewhat at the weekend, we’re beginning to witness St Mirren sailing over the horizon. With 15 games to go, we require a run of form rarely witnessed by United fans and a change in the soft mentality that has dogged this club for many years now.

We know we’ve often had more skilful and better players than our opponents but the game is also played in the head. It’s no coincidence the final hurdle has often never been conquered due to the lack of belief and mental strength. The manager has to change the club mentality if we are to avoid years in the wilderness.
