Stagnificent: Pupils give their verdict on Monarch of the Glen painting

ORKNEY

Youngsters received a sneak preview of one of Scotland’s most famous paintings before it goes on public display at Paisley Museum.

The pupils from Arkleston primary, Renfrew, were special guests at the launch of an exhibition of The Monarch of the Glen by Sir Edwin Landseer. It is an iconic image associated with Scotland. Paisley is only one of four venues in the country chosen to show it.
