Dons youngster Ross signs new deal - then joins Morton on loan
Aberdeen youngster Frank Ross has joined Morton on loan until the end of the season after extending his Pittodrie deal by another 12 months.
The Dons have confirmed the 19-year-old has signed a new deal that will tie him to the club until the summer of 2019.
But they want Ross – who hit the headlines last month when he scored a superb free-kick against Rangers – to gain more first-team experience at Cappielow.
The academy graduate has made four appearances for Derek Mcinnes’ side this term. Mcinnes said: “We’re delighted at the level of club that Frank is joining. The Championship is extremely competitive and he’ll be working with Jim Duffy who has taken players from here in the past.”
