Scotcoin currency moves a step closer

Plans to develop a Scottish-based cryptocurrency have moved a step closer following a successful proof of concept project.

Edinburgh-based Blockchain Technology Partners will now carry out further testing of the technology supporting Scotcoin and develop an electronic wallet suitable to enable consumers to use it.
