What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

It’s not very glam, but it was a North Face puffer jacket because I’m going on a walking holiday in the Lake District.

What are you addicted to buying?

Anything black. I seriously need to branch out, but black is so classic. I’m so different to my former Hollyoaks character Neeta in that way, as she’s very flamboyant.

Best ever bargain?

I got a Mulberry weekend bag from Thailand eight years ago for about £50. It’s actually real. I wasn’t into designer bags at the time, so I had no idea what a great deal it was.

Who has great style?

I’ve always loved Kate Moss’ style and how effortlessly cool she looks, no matter what she’s wearing. It’s like she just flings stuff on and always looks fabulous.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Urban Outfitters every time.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

My uni friends never fail to remind me about my worst outfit – a black string vest which I cut (as if it wasn’t revealing enough), with a bright pink and too big bra underneath, army green parachute trousers with strings hanging off the pockets with black leg warmers around my ankles and hair in a side pony tail with one feather earring. I was a dancer at the time and quite into the band All Saints.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My new Chloé bracelet bag. I place it back in the dustbag it came in after every use. n
