Record number of entries for art competition

A record number of pupils from nurseries, primary and secondary schools have entered Renfrewshire’s annual Inspired Art Competition.

Now 130 of almost 1,000 entries will go on display in a free exhibition at Paisley Museum running until 15 April. Three pupils have had their artworks chosen to be turned into promotional posters. They are Beth Gilkison, 15, Nathan Shankland, 16, and fiveyear-old Niamh Mckniff.
