Police inquiry launched into defibrillator theft
A defibrillator has been stolen in Dumfries and Galloway. The theft is believed to have happened sometime between Monday, 15 January, and Saturday, 20 January.
The defibrillator, which is valued at around £1,000, was positioned in the alleyway next to Watson’s Grocers in High Street, Moniaive.
Constable Lee Smith said: “It is beyond belief that someone would steal such a piece of equipment.” The Forth Road Bridge is to have its first full paint job since it opened in 1964.
Transport Scotland has revealed that a trial is being developed to finally paint the bridge’s main truss deck in its entirety.
