Big Yin’s manager dies from cancer

Billy Connolly’s long-term manager and friend Steve Brown has died at the age of 72.

Mr Brown worked with the Big Yin for more than three decades and represented the comedian right up until his death.

He was the producer of the Glaswegian comic’s stand-up shows and TV series where he travelled around the UK and Australia.

Mr Brown started out in the music industry and worked with artists including Sir Elton John. He died on Christmas Eve from lung cancer.
