Hibernian Strong character
We had to lose a derby eventually, and I suspected it was going to happen on Sunday. Still, we nearly had another replay at Easter Road, and the winning goal probably summed up a game where decent football was conspicuous by its absence. Hearts were the better team over the 90 minutes, which would be easier to acknowledge if they had a manager who possessed a modicum of class, and who wasn’t arrogant to an extent which borders on narcissism.
The uncertainty of the final week of the transfer window makes it difficult to predict how the future will pan out, but whoever pulls on the green jersey must show character and I am confident that is the least we can expect from a team of Neil Lennon’s construction.
