Aberdeen Praise for Mclean

- Steve Wilson

The win over St Mirren was a lot more enjoyable than cup games in the past as, once we went ahead, there was never any real danger of us losing control of the game. This left most fans present more worried about catching the cold themselves rather than the team being caught cold after the winter break.

Dundee United next up is a potentially tough tie as they have to considered as the best non top-flight side left in the competition, but home advantage should help us once again.

On the transfer front, credit must be given to Kenny Mclean who has got his move south for the summer sorted out, but did so in a way that meant St Mirren could be compensated and allows him to finish the season with us. Not often players do that.
