Been there, Dunnes that: Art deco retail site in Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street on the market

One of Glasgow’s most iconic Art Deco buildings, the former Dunnes Store in Sauchiehall Street, has been put up for sale. Real estate group CBRE said the site “occupies a prominent corner location” and extends to 46,5000 sq ft over basement, ground and four upper floors. CBRE said the store, on one of Glasgow’s busiest shopping thoroughfares, as well as having retail planning consent, “offers substantial scope for redevelopment including hotel and office use, student accommodation and private residential”.
