St Mirren 11-point target

A bit of a reality check came on Saturday, as Aberdeen emphatically sent the Buddies crashing out of the Scottish Cup.

Although it was a bit of a non-event in the end, the support our fans gave the team received plaudits from many, both in the ground and on the TV.

Tonight’s game against Dunfermline gives us the chance to go 11 points clear of Dundee United, something that Jack Ross can hopefully use to inspire us to victory.

Although it looks like there will be no more new signings in the January window, our tightknit squad are beginning to look and play like the champions-elect (last Saturday against the second best team in the country aside).
