Falkirk Road to the Highlands
This weekend was all about the Scottish Cup, which is a good distraction from league business given our current predicament. Unfortunately Saturday’s weather was better for sledging than football.
With our fixture rearranged, it gave both Falkirk and Inverness an opportunity to watch the draw for the next round. With a tricky but winnable match in the Highlands against either Formartime Utd or Cove Rangers there was everything to play for! Thankfully the Bairns came out on top in a game in which Falkirk dominated without creating many scoring opportunities. We had to wait until Reghan Tumilty’s low driven cross in the 93rd minute was deflected into the goal to book our place in the next round.
