Dunfermline Duffy’s correct call

-

As Morton keeper Derek Gaston extricated the metaphorical kitchen sink from his net, and Jai Quitongo over-celebrated the greatest highway robbery since Dick Turpin, one was left to reflect on the highlights of an entertaining cup tie.

The pitch was truly remarkable. Nicky Clark and Declan Mcmanus were a constant menace. James Craigen may have resolved our glaring midfield deficiency. Gaston gave us the save of the season. No one died of hypothermia!

The toss of a coin decided the match. Jim Duffy had done his homework, and forced the Pars to play away from the atmospheric Home Stand, where most fans were huddled, in the second half.
