Rail line to reopen after landslip

The rail line between Fort William and Mallaig will reopen on Monday as engineers make progress on repairing damage caused by a landslip near Glenfinnan.

Over 1,000 tonnes of stone and mud was deposited on the track after the mountainside above the line gave way overnight last Sunday into Monday.

Engineers have successfully re-railed the vehicle and removed it from the incident site.
