If you missed Burns Night because you were working late, forgot or couldn’t be bothered to cook, then never fear, as Edinburgh’s Cafe St Honoré have come to the rescue. Tomorrow evening, £50pp, they’re serving a four course Burns Menu, which consists of a starter of Belhaven salmon, rocket, Katy Rodgers’ crème fraîche, toasted oat salad and pickled cucumber followed by venison and Macsween haggis meatballs, clapshot and mustard greens, then cheese and oatcakes and warm organic marmalade cake with Benromach whisky ice cream. Ya beauty, as Burns wouldn’t have said.
