Haggis hatred

-

Afuriousexpatscotaccused Tesco of “discrimination” after discovering they couldn’t supply him with haggis in London – on Burns Night.

Typical victimhood attitude with a claim of being “discriminated against”. It’s a multicultural city so there is a

National day or religious festival nearly every week. The world doesn’t revolve around Scotland, which is something that seems to shock certain people..

Timothy Kieran Francis Hallan

I always get my British haggis and British whisky from Tesco. Rule Britannia!

Paul Hammy Hameed

Bought mine in Tesco in Ashford, Kent. I’ve just had it with neeps and tatties and cranachan. A dram or three later on . . .

Linda Christie

Surprised they haven’t invented a Great English Haggis for the occasion.

Nicky Hamilton-smith

Just a thought. But do supermarkets

not stock what’s in demand locally? While he was in he should’ve bought a chip for his other shoulder.

Colin Galloway

One of the best I ever tasted was on Burns Night in an ordinary London pub, spoilt by the lack of mash tatties, and the addition of ‘diced swede’.

Ian Deare

Wouldn’t thank you for it. I’m Scottish. Hate haggis, hate neeps, hate whisky. Bring on the tatties though.
