Teen arrested after police car is damaged

A teenager has been arrested following an alleged break-in at commercial premises in Aberdeen.

A police car was later damaged during a disturbance while officers investigated an abandoned car in Glenholme Gardens in Dyce thought to be linked to the break-in on Thursday.

Police said an 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with incidents in the Peterhead, Bridge of Don and Dyce areas.

The break-in at Denmore Road in the Murcar Industrial Estate happened between 4:30am and 6:30am on Thursday.
