Light and shade: Orkney artist unveils first solo show in Glasgow at city’s Townhead studios
The Orkney artist and designer Louise Barrington yesterday attended the opening of her first exhibition in Glasgow.
Ku-kan, which is being held at the city’s Wasps Briggait project and exhbition space, is named after a Japanese word meaning “empty void”.
Wasps described the exhibition as a response to the “changing light throughoutu the day,” which uses natural dyed fabric.
