Large trailer stolen from transport firm

A trailer has been stolen after a break-in in Dunbar.

The incident happened at A G Thomson and Sons on Spott Road between 2:30am and 3:15am Thursday.

The suspects are alleged to have broken into a secure yard and stolen a low loader HGV trailer. They are believed to have driven off towards the A1.

The trailer is believed to have been used to steal a large excavator in the Berwick-on-tweed area.
