Historic townhouse set for demolition

-

A historic townhouse in the centre of Glasgow is set to be demolished under plans to build serviced apartments on the plot.

A structural survey has found that the building at the corner of Glasgow’s West Regent and West Campbell Street would be difficult to repair, with health and safety implications for any workers onsite.

Now Street Suite and Ark Architecture and Design have proposed demolishing the structure and replacing it with a contemporary new-build design comprising 50 serviced apartments.
