Light not fantastic
The amount and intensity of light being emitted from traffic on our roads has become insane.
The overpowering LED output from an increasing number of vehicle headlamps is brutal on the eyes of other road-users, especially in builtup areas during the dark ‘rush hours’ of winter.
Such severe lighting is bad for road safety, bad for human health and bad for wildlife. Initiatives at both national and local level are needed to help end this madness.
