Man charged after tan salon bus crash

A man has been reported to prosecutors after a bus crashed into a tanning salon in East Dunbartonshire.

The Mcgill’s bus smashed into a closed tanning salon in Townhead, Kirkintilloch, about 7:40am on Friday.

The driver was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Police said another man aged 61 has now been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged road traffic offences.

The bus spent hours lodged against the salon.
