Dundee Mad strategy

Saturday’s performance against fellow strugglers Ross County was the worst display by a Dundee side this season. Normally reliable performers were invisible or worse, and our strategy of playing a narrow formation against a team known for its strength out wide was madness.

Our inconsistency this season has been our downfall, and it’s this rather than the lastminute loss of both Scott Allan and Jack Hendry which was our downfall at the weekend. It may be an unpopular opinion, but we also missed So fien moussa’ shol d-up play, which would have given our midfield a chance to make their mark. Some fans have been quick to hit the panic button but, as long as Neil Mccann and the players learn their lessons and come out firing in the cup this weekend, all will be forgiven.
