Hamilton Accies Good riddance, January

I would imagine that a three-goal defeat was what most people expected on Saturday. Aberdeen are generally playing well and we’re not, so it was par for the course. Thankfully, we’re not judged by how well we do against the top teams. It’s the matches against the lesser teams that really count and we need to be winning more of those. January was an awful month and we have to put it behind us during the enforced break.

We’re better than we’ve shown recently and hopefully this is just a wobble. We have a fortnight to prepare for the Rangers game and will, hopefully, be a much stronger team by then, with some key players back from injury or suspension. It would be interesting to find out if Chrysovalantis Kozoronis actually exists as he hasn’t been seen in an Accies shirt yet.
