-

Alan Mcrae Position: SFA president Club: Cove Rangers, where he is honorary president and a former player and chairman. Age: 69 Credentials: Replaced Campbell Ogilvie as SFA president in 2015 and is also a former chairman of the Highland League. Mcrae is best friends with Sir Alex Ferguson, who he got to know while Ferguson was manager of Aberdeen. Owns a construction firm. Has been involved with the SFA since 1993 as a council member and has served on every one of the committees and boards, as well as working with Uefa, Ifab and Fifa. Rod Petrie Position: SFA vice-president Club: Hibernian, where he is chairman and former chief executive. Age: 61 Credentials: Needs little introduction having been involved with Hibs since the mid 1990s, when he first took a seat on the board. A trained chartered accountant, he has a patchy record of appointing managers at Hibs. He decided to step away from the recruiting process, and then quit as chief executive, with Leeann Dempster taking over in 2014. But he is now heavily involved in appointing Scotland’s next boss. Ian Maxwell Position: SFA board member Club: Partick Thistle, where he is managing director and a former player, assistant manager and general manager. Age: 42 Credentials: Has been involved in Scottish football for a quarter of a century as a player and club official. Among the clubs he represented were St Johnstone and Partick Thistle, where he finished his career and stepped into coaching as an assistant to Ian Mccall. Has since stepped into an administrate role at Firhill and is credited with helping maintain Thistle’s current healthy position on and off the pitch.
