Vehicles on fire at derelict car park

Emergency services were called to deal with a number of vehicles on fire at a derelict car park yesterday.

Fire crews were alerted to the blaze at Morrison Street in Edinburgh at around 11:10am.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said there were no casualties.

A spokesman said: “Operations Control mobilised two appliances after the alarm was raised at 11.09am on Wednesday, February 7. There are no casualties. Crews will remain in attendance until the area is made safe.”
