Couple robbed and attacked at home

A couple have been left traumatised after they were robbed and attacked in their own home.

Two men broke into the house in Dolphin Road in the Edinburgh suburb of Currie at 1:30am yesterday and stole jewellery and cash.

The woman was assaulted and was treated for minor injuries at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Police are keen to trace two men wearing dark clothing who are believed to have been travelling in a small silver car.
