Man, 26, arrested over petrol station robbery

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Kirkcaldy.

No one was injured in the incident at the Shell petrol station on Hendry Road at around 1am yesterday.

However, a three-figure sum of cash was stolen.

Investigations are ongoing but no one else is being sought in relation to the robbery.

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Cunningham said: “Our inquiries are continuing and we would urge anyone who may have information to come forward.”
