Dame Judi to enter Grand National

Dame Judi Dench will have a horse racing in the Grand National, it has been confirmed.

The Oscar-winning actress has entered As De Mee, a seven-year-old bay gelding she owns with the businessman Andy Stewart.

The horse will carry 10st 8lb, it was confirmed at a ceremony at Bafta (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts), where the handicaps for all the 2018 entries were revealed.

Dame Judi also revealed her love of racing began in France.
