Partick Thistle Common sense move
On Saturday, Thistle’s chances of making it to Hampden were taken away in a disastrous first 12 minutes. That’s where they lost the game, although it did take a last-ditch sliding tackle by Kieran Tierney to prevent Ryan Edwards giving the Jags a replay. Time to trot out that old line “now we can concentrate on the league”.
Thistle face Dundee this Saturday at Firhill, followed by visits to Hamilton and Ross County. All crucial games for us and a chance to put some distance between us and the bottom two places. It was good that common sense prevailed and the County game has been moved from midweek to a Saturday. Common sense are not words you associate with Scottish football so well done to both clubs and the SPFL.
