Ross County Bad weather blues

Ross County had a week off just when they looked like getting a bit of form. The disruption of momentum isn’t so much down to the lack of a fixture as the recurring snowy weather which prohibits outdoor training.

But the squad should be well rested, and there are key players due back from injury who will have benefited from the extra time in recuperation. It remains to be seen whether Andrew Davies will be fit for Hearts’ visit on Saturday and who he might replace in the team. Harry Souttar and Liam Fontaine have struck a decent partnership in the centre of defence. Greg Tansey is also due to come in, maybe for Chris Routis. Either would improve the team but is changing the lineup after a 4-1 win worth doing?
