St Johnstone Easy targets

- SJ

Pre-match it appeared the large Saints support had an air of expectation. Until the first goal was scored, this looked justified. There ended the match and everybody in the stadium knew it.

Not surprisingly, there followed more calls for Tommy Wright to go and criticism of the chairman. Entirely predictable, but not what is needed. Both are easy targets, The problems are mistakes on the park being exploited on a regular basis.

The one player who stood out was Jason Kerr playing for the first time on his favoured side of the back three. His contribution in playing passes with his right foot from the back significantly improved his effectiveness. He looked the “old head” in defence.
